The Pro-Ject 2-Xperience SB S-SHAPE turntable is a model in the 2-Xperience line that has absorbed all the best that Pro-Ject has developed and invented over the twenty years of its existence. This player is able to take the experience of listening to vinyl records to a whole new level.

The Pro-Ject 2-Xperience SB S-SHAPE shares the same visual performance as its predecessor, the 2 Xperience. The massive chassis, made of fiberboard, is made using a special technology that eliminates the appearance of vibrations that interfere with listening to your favorite recordings. The height-adjustable conical legs with a special protective coating serve the same purpose. The body is available in six finishes: matt eucalyptus, matt rosewood, matt walnut, black piano lacquer, lacquered mahogany, lacquered olive wood.

The Pro-Ject 2-Xperience SB features a new precision motor with built-in speed controller powered by a DC (800 mA) source. The rotation speed (33 rpm or 45 rpm) can be changed with just one push of a button. Pro-Ject itself describes the 300mm diameter platter, made of special vibration-resistant material, as “a stable and reliable platform you can trust with your recordings.” The vinyl surface of the disc acts as a substrate and securely holds the record, preventing it from slipping. The plate is additionally pressed by a special clamp.

The transparent casing included in the kit will protect all components of the device from dust particles and retain its original appearance for many years.
